Terrence & Sophia's Timeless Winter Wedding in Downtown Toronto

After meeting Terrence and Sophia for their engagement photographs at the Toronto Islands, I looked forward to getting to work with them again to photograph their wedding for months!  They met as kids at summer camp, and created the most beautiful long distance romance despite living in different countries for years, so their coming together for their wedding day, launching into truly spending their lives together, was absolutely magical for everyone who got to be there.

            They chose One King West to host their winter wedding, a stunning venue in downtown Toronto that lends itself perfectly to elegant and stylish weddings in the city.  The weather was frigid right before Christmas, so we took all our photographs inside (not a problem at all in this gorgeous location) and enjoyed a cozy evening in the elegant vaulted ballroom of the hotel that used to be the bank concourse. 

            Getting to photograph Sophia and Terrence together is an absolute dream.  They’re so comfortable together having known one another since childhood, and make sure to enjoy and capitalize on every moment they get to spend together.  They were both so relaxed all day long, and truly made sure to only care about the important parts of the day, savouring their ceremony, enjoying a fabulous meal, and sharing so much love with their family and friends.  I love love loved working with these two, and can’t wait to share the photographs with you!
