Danielle & Anthony's Elegant and Romantic Italian Wedding at The Royal Ambassador

You may remember Danielle and Anthony from their adorable engagement session I posted last year, when they took a day off to meet me in Collingwood to visit their favourite coffee shop, record store, and to watch the sunset by the beach.  If you remember how cute these two were from their engagement gallery, I’m sure you’ve been looking forward to seeing their wedding photographs appear on here as well!

Danielle and Anthony hosted their big Italian wedding at The Royal Ambassador Event Center just outside of Toronto.  Danielle looked stunning in a Truvelle Bridal gown from Sash and Bustle, and Anthony cleaned up in a three piece suit that he kept looking sharp all day despite the summer heat.  They hired a beautiful old classic car to drive them around for the day, and created a gorgeous reception space complete with sky high floral arrangements and hanging candles that cast the most beautiful glow on the evening.  These two are so chic, and planned a wedding that was bursting with their unique and elegant style!

They hosted a classic big Italian wedding, surrounded by hundreds of family and friends, but they both craved a moment of privacy and peace together on their wedding day.  To create some space for themselves, they opted for a private first look away from the bustle of the day at a picturesque forested location in Kleinburg.  We captured some beautiful natural and candid photographs of the two of them together enjoying their wedding day in the forest, then used the classic old car they rented for some bomb photos before heading off to their ceremony!

The reception space that they put together with the help of their wonderful wedding planner was jaw dropping.  Even more special though were all the wonderful candid moments we had the pleasure of capturing around the room as guests ate, drank, laughed, and danced the night away together.  Big Italian weddings are so much fun because the dance floor opens almost straight away.  People can choose if they want to sit, eat, and visit, or get up and hit the dance floor!  It always makes for the most lively, natural, and candid reception photographs, really one of my favourite parts of a wedding.

Enjoy all the love, laughter, and merriment in Danielle and Anthony’s photos, and join me in being absolutely smitten with these two by the end of the post!
