Rebecca & John's Beer and Bikes Themed Urban Wedding at The Allen Gardens and Junction Craft Brewery

Rebecca and John found themselves close to my heart from the morning they met me for their engagement photographs together.  Remember the rad couple with the tandem bike in Trinity Bellwoods, well this was them!  Needless to say I was beyond excited to see what they would create for their wedding day after pulling out all the stops with their engagement photographs, and they absolutely did not disappoint with their urban beer and bikes themed wedding at one of Toronto’s hottest new wedding venues, Junction Craft Brewing.  And for those of you wondering, yes, their amazing tandem bike did make it into their wedding as a creative backdrop for a guestbook photobooth! 

Rebecca and John chose the beautiful Allen Gardens Greenhouse for their private first look together.  The picturesque location was perfect for them to enjoy a private and intimate moment together, before heading off to take some photographs in the warm greenhouse rooms together, a welcome break from the chill of the crisp fall day outdoors.  After a while their wedding party met us at the greenhouse to take some fun and natural wedding party photographs together, and they absolutely rocked it with the girls in their beautiful deep burgundy dresses and the guys in their light grey suits.

After photographs, the rest of their day was hosted at Junction Craft Brewing, and a more perfect venue could not have been dreampt up for these two hip craft beer loving souls.  They held their ceremony in front of the great brewing vats at the back of the venue, and had their talented bridesmaid create a geometric floral arch decorated with dried hops blossoms.  Their cocktail included free flowing craft beer, and some of the most delicious charcuterie boards I’ve ever seen put on by Gusto 54 catering. 

Their reception space was decorated with long harvest tables, draped with burgundy table runners and topped with craft beer jugs filled with dried hops and surrounded by candles.  As the sun sank low over the city, the space was filled with the most gorgeous golden light, and guests settled in to a fun evening of speeches, dancing, and great food with this warm, welcoming, and fun loving couple.
