Beth & Scott's Romantic Elegant Wedding at The National Club in Downtown Toronto

Beth, Scott, and I have been ships in the night for years it turns out.  We went to the same university, have so many friends in common, and I instantly felt like I’d met these two long ago when we met for the first time at Soho House in downtown Toronto for our wedding consult.

Beth and Scott created a stunningly elegant classic wedding at the National Club, a gorgeous and understated venue in the heart of downtown Toronto.  They rented the club for the entire weekend, hosted many of their out of town guests there, and enjoyed a full wedding weekend of fun with their nearest and dearest there to visit them.

These two are so relaxed, easy going, and natural to spend time around.  Just look through their fun engagement session with their pup Bondi at Cherry Beach to fall in love with them too!

Beth opted for a classic lace wedding gown and soft up-do, making her look like a classic English beauty straight out of a Charles Dickens novel, while Scott channeled his inner NPH and pulled out all the stops with some of the best groom style I’ve seen to date!  This was the first time I’d ever had the groom request a ‘reveal’ with his groomsmen and it was SO worth it to see their expressions when Scott stepped out in the suit he had spent months designing! Paired with velvet loafers, a stunning crew of groomsmen in classic black with bow ties, and the beautiful bridesmaids in soft romantic purple, this wedding party was beyond fun to photograph!

Following their happy first look up on the rooftop, we headed down to the second floor for a heartfelt ceremony in an elegant room with plush red carpets and wall sconces.  This venue screams classy sophistication and suited their wedding style perfectly.  After family photographs and a cocktail hour full of hugs and cheers, they opened the doors to the National Club’s beautiful dining room.  With a wall to wall gallery of presidents, crystal chandeliers suspended over the ballroom, and round tables packed with guests and candles, this room had the perfect cozy reception glow to kick off a fantastic night.

Beth and Scott’s first dance was one for the books, and the speeches and stories told by their friends and family had everybody in stitches and ready to kick off an amazing evening together.

Beth and Scott, you two are so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and fun to be around (and I love your dog), it was a pleasure to capture you wedding day together!
