Kate & Dan's Romantic Blush Themed Wedding at Chateau Des Charmes Vineyard in Niagara

Kate & Dan came all the way from Australia to Niagara to host their wedding close to Dan’s family in Ontario.  They created a timeless and classic wedding, bringing the legendary Australian wedding style to Canada with their epic venue choice at Chateau des Charmes, and Kate’s soft pink wedding dress and huge flowing veil.  It was the hottest day of the year, but Kate, Dan, and all their friends and family never stopped smiling for the entire day.

They began their wedding day getting ready in sweet little Niagara houses overlooking the majestic river.  The groomsmen took their time getting ready and cheersing, while the bridesmaids took turns having dance parties and relaxing in the shade to escape the July heat wave.  The bridesmaids got dressed up in flowing Grecian style dresses in all white with a sequined tie belt, and helped Kate slip into her elegant princess bridal gown in soft pink with a long flowing veil to top all veils.  She opted for a classic and elegant low bun paired with pearl earrings for the most timeless and elegant bridal style.

They chose beautiful Chateau des Charmes and the surrounding vineyard to host their day, and we jumped right into photographs in front of the iconic vines and cyprus trees as soon as we arrived.  The girls then watched from the bridal suite as the guys arrived at the venue to enjoy a drink on the back patio and prepare for the ceremony.

They held their ceremony later in the day to escape the heat, and chose the most picturesque outdoor setting overlooking the iconic Niagara vineyards.  Their ceremony set up was simple, classic, elegant, and let the scenery speak for itself as the sun slowly sank down behind the vines, and the happy bride and groom were showered with rose petals as they walked back up the aisle together.  Everything was made every more special by the officiant being a long lost friend of the bride’s mother, a surprise small world moment that no one was expecting!

As soon as the sun went down on their tented reception and the temperature dropped, the party kicked into full gear.  Outside, a classic Ontario summer storm rumbled over the venue, and guests ate cake, roared with laughter at speeches, and danced the night away with Kate and Dan.
