Danielle and Duncan were game for anything when they decided to go ahead with their engagement session on the stormiest day I have seen so far this year.  This couple must have horseshoes stashed somewhere special though, because the clouds parted and the rain stopped right on cue to give us a three hour window to explore and take photographs around beautiful Elmira.  We made the most of the sudden sunny weather by climbing trees, walking in rivers, dancing in fields, and of course stopping for a beer along the way.  Then, as I hopped in my car to drive home, the skies opened again.  Can I take you guys along on all of my engagement sessions for good luck?

I so enjoyed taking these photos, and absolutely can't wait to photograph their lively do-it-yourself style wedding later this summer!  (keep your eyes out for that one, I think the photos will be really cool!)
